Buy Goji Juice – The top places to buy online.
There are a number of good reasons why it is a good thing to buy goji juice. The goji berry has been in the western consciousness for only a few years, but it goes back a lot further in places like China, Japan and Korea. According to some estimates, the use of this fruit may date back almost two thousand years or even more.
There are a number of ways to get the benefits of the goji berry. (If you want to read up on this, you can read our section on the benefits here and the nutritional contents here.) The most popular way, it seems, these days is to ingest it in a liquid form. FreeLife, a multi-level marketing (MLM), company has made it its business to sell the so-called Himalayan Goji Juice. If you are out to buy goji juice, you can visit their website FreeLife.com, and make a purchase directly through them. Unfortunately, a one-liter bottle (about 1 US quart) goes for the not-so-modest $52. First-time buyers get a discount that puts the per-bottle price at $36.50. If money is an issue for you I suggest you read the rest of this article.
The good people at FreeLife are smart marketers. It’s a little bit besides the point for the purposes of this article, but their juice is NOT from the Himalayas contrary to its name. The berries they use is grown in various places in China. They, however, realized that it is a lot easier to move a product at over fifty bucks per bottle, if you call it something exotic. They have caught a lot of heat over this obvious marketing ploy in recent times especially that some of their claims don’t seem to jive with modern medical science.
Reasons Not to Buy Goji Juice: It is also quite possible that their juice does not come from fresh berries the some way you squeeze orange juice for instance. Chances are that the berries are dried first before they pack them up and ship them. There are two reasons for this. Dehydrating a fruit has long been a good way to keep it from going bed and last for a long time while not compromising its beneficial effects. Two, getting rid of the water weight also makes shipping easier.
In other words, if you want to buy goji juice, that’s fine. But, if the juice is made from dried fruit anyway, why not just buy the dried berries in the first place and do what the Chinese have been doing for centuries: brew them into a tea?
